An Intercontexting Experiment

“The whole is greater than the sum of its parts, in Context.”

I was experimenting with building pictures out of smaller pictures, or elements. Here is a table of the elements from which to choose from:

Now I will choose a few of the elements – in this case the Elephant, Hourglass, Curtains, and Arches:

Next, I will choose different elements from the table – (in this case, the Clock, Hourglass, Palm Tree, Flower, Ionic Column, Star, Curtains, and Double Rectangles) –

Do you see how different basic elements (icons) can be combined to make larger and more complex pictures? This is a form of “Intercontexting”!
