This long scrolling image is a combination of a geometric “Mondrian-esque” approach and a lively decorative digital “free-style” approach. The formal rectilinear style is hereby intermingled with the cheerfully spontaneous icon-based style, using bold graphic colors.

NOTES: This image is actually an amalgamation of elements from the scrolling images found in the past couple of posts – This Image and This Image. It could be called the “offspring” of the two “parent images”:
NOTES ON THE CREATIVE PROCESS: I was viewing the “parent images” as I constructed the “offspring” image… I picked apart the “parent images” into their constituent elements, and then recombined some of their elements together to form the “offspring” image.
Can you see how the “child” has some of the characteristics of both its “mother” and “father”?
Thus, the “genetics” of the original images are recombined in context to form the new “offspring” image. The creative process involved in doing this could be called a form of “mind sex” (I’ll probably write about that in a future post), however, suffice it to say at this time that this is a form of “Intercontexting”…
